Orphan Haile was living in A&E in Addis Ababa's Black Lion Hospital suffering from Rheumatic Heart Disease. Heart charity Chain of Hope organised for Haile to be flown to Egypt to undergo life saving surgery.

We were given an open remit by Headline Publishing to make this video for debut novelist Eowyn Ivey. We devised the concept, commissioned the drawings and animated them. The book was chosen to be one of the Waterstone 11 and the video has been used by the UK, US and European publishers. To quote Vicky Cowell of Headline 'We've had such wonderful feedback on the film that it's really raised the bar for what we do next'.
